Explore the planned route before you join, then start when you’re ready to drive. Keep a Proof of qualifying participation.

See approximate participation along the event route. Qualifying participation earns Event Light; going faster never earns more.

What are Live Events?

Scheduled drives with a route to explore before you join. Qualifying participation earns a Proof and Event Light; going faster does not. Founding runs are our first Live Events—the update list is where those invitations begin.

Who can see my location?

Ordinary Free Roam stays private. Public Signal shows only broad, deliberately imprecise presence—not your exact point or route. Live Events show approximate presence along the event route.

Optional Private Ride is still in testing. In enabled tests, you can explicitly start a Private Ride with a reviewed rider list to share your exact current point with riders who are also actively sharing. It does not share your trail.

The shared-day feature in development adds a separate choice to contribute a saved route. Joining a live ride is not permission to share your recording.

Is this the Northbound game?

No. This is the real-world Signal Runner driving app, currently in development. Northbound is a separate arcade game—not a mode you use while driving.
